I just wanted to send a note of thank you for the excellent wine tours we experienced with you.
Irna and Diano (not sure of the spelling) were wonderful and very patient with our group.
I would also like to pass a message on to Irna and thank her for her help and great tips about FLorence and Pisa. I am happy that we took her advice and booked tickets for the Acadamie. I could not believe the line ups to get in. We only waited 10 minutes to get in and it was well worth seeing the Statue of David. We would not have seen him otherwise. I heard the line ups without reservations were about 1 to 2 hours!

We are back in the states and missing beautiful Italy. I can not tell you what an amazing day we had wine tasting in Chianti. Thank you for setting up the personal one on one wine tasting's with each of the wineries. I have to say our favorite was with Guisepie and his girlfriend Barbara, I think we through our schedule of because we were have such a good time.

I also want to thank you for have Erna as our guide what a warm and wonderful lady. She's a star.

We have tried the lemon and orange, which are both good, but not as good as gelato!

My sister Fiona and I are back in the US after a wonderful time in Italy. We wanted to thank both you and Edna for making it such a pleasant experience. After Florence we went to Milan, visited Lake Como and even went to Venice! We came home very tired and we definitely shopped till we dropped. We were a group of 8 people (4 couples) who hired Maurizio for two wine tours. We had the pleasure of Maurizio's personal knowledge on the day we visited I Selvatici, Castello d'Albola and PoggioAntinore winery. All I can say is WOW!!
Maurizio's knowledge of the area is only overshadowed by his knowledge of the wine industry since he has first hand experience from a family history with the wine business.

We're the "Gang of 4" from Manila, Philippines who stayed in La Ferriera from Oct. 9-16, 2004. Thank you very much for providing our transfers from Loro Ciufenno to Montevarchi and back almost everyday. Please relay our thanks also to Erna, Sergio and Diano.

The day trip to Siena and San Gimignano on Oct. 12 was especially memorable. You're the perfect tour guide and interpreter. we visited italy in late feb/early march 2003 and
did a trip to tuscany with golden travel. our guide and driver, Maurizio, was excellent!!!
he was interesting to talk to, his english was just fine, and he was able to translate for us when we had questions or wanted to make purchases.
We were able to visit some wonderful wineries in montalcino and montepulciano because of maurizio's knowledge of the area. It was great not to worry about directions or drinking and driving issues.
we saw some beautiful countryside and had some great wine. we also went to a wonderful sheep farm in pienza where we tasted & purchased some pecorino cheese right from the source!!! bella, bella, bella :-)
we will be sure to tour with maurizio again when we return to italy, his services were worth our time and money :-)
